Christina Rosas Serves as Instructor for Fall 2017 “Foundational Lawyering Skills” Course at Hofstra School of Law

Christina Rosas, counsel in the Firm’s Trusts and Estates and Commercial Real Estate Practice Groups, served as an instructor for a course entitled “Foundational Lawyering Skills” offered at Hofstra School of Law as part of its Fall 2017 curriculum. The course was designed to introduce second year law students to a cross-cutting theme of practice skills, including investigation and analysis of facts, the various stages of lawyering, either in the litigation or transactional context, client interviewing, client counseling and negotiation. Ms. Rosas provided assessment and feedback during eight two-hour small group skills labs, and observed and critiqued student performances in mock interviews, counseling sessions and negotiations.
